Marshall Goldsmith’s Stakeholder Centered Coaching method
Marshall Goldsmith’s Stakeholder Centered Coaching (MGSCC) method provides measurable and lasting growth in leadership. The method enables successful leaders to act more effectively through positive behavioural changes that are seen and endorsed by others.
The method consists of the following five steps:
STEP 1: Define one or more leadership goals that are important to the leader and the organization
STEP 2: Invite stakeholders to be part of the process and clarify leadership goals
STEP 3: Create an action plan based on stakeholder input
STEP 4: Regularly gather stakeholder input and adjust the action plan
STEP 5: Measure leadership change as perceived by stakeholders

In practice, one can elaborate these five steps in the following eigt phases of MGSCC:

Within MGSCC, we use feedback from stakeholders, but receiving feedforward from stakeholders is equally important.
